Review of charity’s safeguarding policies and procedures

A charity engaged our services to conduct a review of their safeguarding policies and procedures.

Meetings took place, which enabled us to get to know the client, and understand the nature of their work. With this knowledge we were able to draft policies and procedures which fitted the diverse and sensitive work of the charity. The policies were written in a clear and practical way to enable all those working with the charity from managers to volunteers, and service users, to have clear guidance on recognising and responding to safeguarding children issues.

The client also engaged us to design and deliver a training session on safeguarding children issues and introduce the new policies and procedures.
